Mental Health and Chronic Pain support group
Chronic Pain Ireland has partnered with Turn2Me an Irish online mental health charity that provides free, anonymous and confidential online professional health services to anyone that needs it. They provide a range of online services which anyone can access via their website www.Turn2Me.ie
Chronic Pain Group Counselling
Chronic Pain is invisible, you cannot show it to your doctor, friends, or family. There isn’t always a scar or any visual cues to the pain you are suffering. This support group is a place where you can seek support from others who can empathise with what you are going through, and your experience will resonate with other Chronic Pain Ireland members. Empower yourself to take control and arm yourself with ways to improve your quality of everyday life, strengthen your resilience, prioritise your mental health and self-care. The support group is facilitated by an experienced Psychotherapist who lives with Chronic Pain.
Turn2Me in partnership with Chronic Pain Ireland will facilitate a specific ‘chronic pain group counselling support group’ on the last Tuesday evening of every month. Please note that while the above group is open only to Chronic Pain Ireland members at this time however all other mental health services are available to the general public and you can sign up directly via www.Turn2Me.ie

The simplest way to use these events to raise money on our behalf is to view some of the events listed on our events section of iDonate.ie and then setting up your own fundraising page that you can share with family and friends. This year why not hold a virtual fundraiser, it can be a music gig, walk, jog, run, cycle. We also had a sponsored sheep-shearing event and we are grateful to all who step forward.
We’ve loads of idea’s listed on our iDonate events pages and while it is not possible for group events during 2020 hopefully 2021 will see us gathering again.
iDonate.ie is dedicated to providing services to charities and fundraisers making it easy, simple and safe for you to raise money for your chosen charity.
Setting up your page takes just a few minutes, and you can then ask all your friends, family and social media contacts to support you on your iDonate.ie page.

With your help we can provide more services and support to those living with chronic pain conditions. So please get together with your friends and family to help and ensure that no one has to suffer alone!
Your time, effort, and contributions will enable us to provide support service to people and their families who are affected by chronic pain and the impact it has on every aspect of their lives.
Every year Chronic Pain Ireland supports hundreds of people and with your help we hope to reach out to the many thousands of people who are struggling. Recent statistics show that 13% of the Irish population are affected by pain and of that number 89% feel that they cannot speak to family members or friends about their condition.
Chronic Pain Ireland is a registered charity and receives SSNO funding which covers the cost of our part-time administrator. We are very grateful to SSNO funding and the ongoing support of Pobal and the Department of Rural and Community Development under the Programme and Scheme to Support National Organisations (SSNO) 2019-2022.
While we are delighted to be receive this support we are heavily reliant on donations from our members and the public to cover all our support services which includes our telephone support line a vital link for so many who feel alone. In 2020 we moved to providing online supports as our it was unsafe to hold workshops, public awareness events and talks.
If you can help, please get in touch.
