BoardMatch Appoints it’s 5000th Trustee to Chronic Pain Ireland
Chronic Pain Ireland is delighted to welcome Erin Daly to our board as the 5,000th trustee appointed via BoardMatch. This milestone was celebrated during BoardMatch’s recent 20th Anniversary event, hosted by Arthur Cox.
The event was attended by Jerry Buttimer T.D., Minister of State for Community Development and Charities, and Madeleine Delaney, Chief Executive of the Charities Regulator, recognising the importance of governance during Charities Trustees’ Week.
During the evening, Erin Daly’s appointment was announced, marking a significant milestone in BoardMatch’s 20-year history of supporting strong, independent, and inclusive boards across Ireland.
At the event, Erin Daly had the opportunity to connect with Chronic Pain Ireland’s board member Linda Waters. Both trustees met and spoke with Minister Buttimer who reminisced on our shared history of working to advance chronic pain awareness and advocacy, highlighting the journey of recognising chronic pain as a medical speciality in Ireland.
