Chronic Pain Ireland AGM 2026

Chronic Pain Ireland’s 2026 Annual General Meeting will take place at 6:30 pm on May 7th via Zoom. This is an opportunity for our members to engage with our Board and each other while reviewing 2025 accomplishments as outlined in our CPI Annual Report 2025, along with challenges and our plans for the future. We are delighted to welcome our very special guest speaker Dr Keith Smart:

– Assistant Professor: UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science
– Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning
– Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, Blackrock Clinic, Dublin

 

About Dr Smart: Keith is an academic and clinical physiotherapist. Based in University College Dublin, his teaching and research is focused on pain science and practice and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He very much values ‘Public and Patient Involvement’ (PPI) in research and teaching and has worked in partnership with Chronic Pain Ireland and Pain Alliance Europe on a number of research projects. A member of CPI teaches his students by talking about the lived experience of chronic pain.
