Fundraiser: Turning Remembrance into Hope for chronic pain.
We were truly delighted to meet with John Cully at Trim Castle yesterday to speak about the work of Chronic Pain Ireland and the support that his community fundraiser will make to those living with chronic pain.
Together with his girlfriend Emily-Jane Stephens, they organised a raffle in memory of their dear friend Darren Corcoran, which took place as part of the annual Edward Cosgrave Memorial Charity Tractor Run on 17 August 2025.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of their local community and sponsors, an amazing €4,370 was raised in support of Chronic Pain Ireland services.

Pictured above is John Cully presenting a cheque to Christina Donnelly, Executive Director, Chronic Pain Ireland outside in the grounds of the beautiful Trim Castle in Co. Meath. Christina states “This donation will make a real difference in helping us to continue offering our telephone support line, mental-health supports, and monthly workshops that provide information, connection, and hope to those living with chronic pain. We are deeply grateful to John, Emily-Jane, the Corcoran family and everyone involved for honouring Darren’s memory in such a meaningful way, and for transforming remembrance into lasting support for others experiencing chronic pain”.
