Chronic Pain - Understanding and Managing Pain - webinar

Chronic Pain: Understanding and Managing Pain

Pain is something that we all have experienced at one time or another. But do we really understand what pain is, how to treat it and most importantly, how to live with pain when it becomes part of your daily life.

The World Patient Alliance is hosting an important webinar titled “Understanding and Managing Pain” on July 22, 2024, at 9 AM ET or 14:00 Irish Time. This initiative aims to raise awareness and provide valuable insights into pain management, helping those who suffer from pain lead easier, more fulfilling lives.

During this webinar we will look at the types of pain, the treatments available, the stigma of pain and more. We will also learn what a person who finds they must live with pain long term can do to help better manage it so they can live a full life despite pain. A person who lives with pain daily will share the impact it has on her life and the resources available to her.

Mark your calendars and register now to secure your spot at this informative event. With a variety of keynote speakers including Andrew Spiegal Chair of World Patient Alliance:

Understanding Pain – Robert Edwards PhD

Managing Pain Skills – Penny Cowan, founder-retired of the American Chronic Pain Association and current Secretary and Founder of the World Patient Alliance

Living with Pain – Regina Kamoga, Executive Director of Community Health and Information Network (CHAIN).
