Chronic Pain Ireland is pleased to highlight a new set of free, evidence-based resources for people living with musculoskeletal pain. Digi4MSK is a European Erasmus+ Alliance for Innovation project bringing together universities, healthcare institutions, patient organisations, and digital experts.
In Ireland, the School of Allied Health at the University of Limerick led this work and reached out to Chronic Pain Ireland to support the initiative, provide insights and helping to raise awareness, promote resources, encourage engagement among people living with chronic pain and speak at regional events.
The aim of Digi4MSK is to make evidence-based musculoskeletal health information more accessible – for professionals and patients alike.
As a patient organisation involved in this project, Chronic Pain Ireland recognises the importance of clear, consistent and accessible information for people living with persistent pain.
Two sets of resources are now freely available in multiple languages and are designed for different but complementary audiences.
These tools are designed to help both healthcare professionals and people living with musculoskeletal (MSK) pain better understand and manage persistent pain.
Many people living with MSK conditions receive mixed advice and can feel unsure about what is safe or helpful. Digi4MSK aims to bridge that gap by providing clear, evidence-based information that supports confidence and self-management.
