NERVEmber 2023

Oct 31, 2023

During November, Chronic Pain Ireland aims to raise awareness of neuropathic pain which is in support of the International Pain Foundation campaign NERVEmber™   The campaign uses NERVEmber™ to create awareness for over 150 conditions that have nerve pain as a symptom.

The colour orange is the international colour for chronic pain awareness. In over 150 conditions that do have nerve pain as a symptom, many are misunderstood, mistreated and often misdiagnosed.   Neuropathic pain can be felt anywhere in your body and you may experience one of or more of the following sensations –  burning, crawling, freezing, stabbing or shocking.

Each day during the month of NERVEmber™  we will be using the colour Orange across our social media platforms and the hashtags #NERVEmber #GoOrange and #FreezingFire to show our support.  We’ll have lots of facts, news and events throughout the month.

You can bring awareness to conditions by posting everyday in #NERVEmber so remember to use @ChronicPainIRL #NERVEmber #GoOrange #FreezingFire so that we can see and share your posts.
