During this Understanding Chronic Pain workshop we examine and explore topics. Our approach is based on a holistic, bio-psycho-social model of health including CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), positive psychology, relaxation, hypnotherapy, motivational interviewing and coaching.
Chronic pain implementation and booster workshop is a bi-monthly session for people who have attended pain management programmes, courses or workshops and who need help to regain motivation.
The course focusses and looks at key ideas in the self-management of chronic pain and encourages participants to explore ways to both manage their condition and cope better.
