Hell & Back is Ireland’s toughest physical and mental endurance challenge. These challenges are geared for either individuals or teams. We hope that these events will proceed during 2021 so please keep us in mind. You can check out their web-site below for a challenge near you and contact Christina [email protected] for your fundraising pack!
All around the country there are various virtual events that take place from 5K walks, runs, cycle challenges, marathons etc. If you are thinking of taking up a challenge then please consider fundraising for Chronic Pain Ireland – we need your Help. Once you are registered for your particular event, please contact Christina on [email protected] who will be happy to take you through some helpful fundraising tools and post out your fundraising pack and that all important CPI t-shirt!
The simplest way to use these events to raise money on our behalf is to view some of the events listed on our events section of iDonate.ie and then setting up your own fundraising page that you can share with family and friends. This year why not hold a virtual fundraiser, it can be a music gig, walk, jog, run, cycle. We also had a sponsored sheep-shearing event and we are grateful to all who step forward.
We’ve loads of idea’s listed on our iDonate events pages and while it is not possible for group events during 2020 hopefully 2021 will see us gathering again.
iDonate.ie is dedicated to providing services to charities and fundraisers making it easy, simple and safe for you to raise money for your chosen charity.
Setting up your page takes just a few minutes, and you can then ask all your friends, family and social media contacts to support you on your iDonate.ie page.
The Around the World #doingittogether challenge will run for 24 hours starting at midday on Saturday June 19th and finishing at midday June 20th. We want to go around the world in 24 hours and we are #doingittogether! Our target is to collectively cover 42,000km through various forms of activity, with all kms being pledged towards charities across Ireland.
Its open to everyone and any activity counts whether it’s running, walking, swimming, cycling, rolling or crawling! To take part Click HERE to setup your iDonate fundraising page for Chronic Pain Ireland and “pledge” the number of KMs you will complete. Or simply enter the number of KMs you did on the day.
Share your cause with family and friends and then head out on the weekend of June 19th and get active. On the weekend we will also have options to donate for those who want to do so. All donors can donate directly to their preferred cause and let us know how many kms they completed in aid of that cause.
Together we can go around the world and do a world of good! This virtual fundraising campaign is a partnership with iDonate and Charities Institute Ireland in aid of Irish charities.

With your help we can provide more services and support to those living with chronic pain conditions. So please get together with your friends and family to help and ensure that no one has to suffer alone!
Your time, effort, and contributions will enable us to provide support service to people and their families who are affected by chronic pain and the impact it has on every aspect of their lives.
Every year Chronic Pain Ireland supports hundreds of people and with your help we hope to reach out to the many thousands of people who are struggling. Recent statistics show that 13% of the Irish population are affected by pain and of that number 89% feel that they cannot speak to family members or friends about their condition.
Chronic Pain Ireland is a registered charity and receives SSNO funding which covers the cost of our part-time administrator. We are very grateful to SSNO funding and the ongoing support of Pobal and the Department of Rural and Community Development under the Programme and Scheme to Support National Organisations (SSNO) 2019-2022.
While we are delighted to be receive this support we are heavily reliant on donations from our members and the public to cover all our support services which includes our telephone support line a vital link for so many who feel alone. In 2020 we moved to providing online supports as our it was unsafe to hold workshops, public awareness events and talks.
If you can help, please get in touch.
